SPEAKER ANITA AMONG TELLS OFF MPS OVER OULANYAH FUND AS HOUSE MOVES TO DEBATE COFFEE REPORT TODAY

READY FOR BUSINESS: Speaker Anita Among

NEWS EDITOR MEDIA

SPEAKER of Parliament Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among is disappointed with a section of Members of Parliament who have run to media in objection to the deduction of Shs 1 Million agreed upon as Member’s contribution towards the late Speaker Jacob Oulanyah Education Trust Fund.
Among has strongly condemned the act saying, she has been following media reports on how some legislators are speaking ill about the Shs1 Million that was passed in August House.
Presiding over Parliament sitting today morning, Speaker Among urged MPs to desist from such utterences since the decision was made and agreed upon by the whole House.
“Colleagues I followed from the news and social of the complaints by some of you on the contribution of One Million towards the Jacob Oulanyah Education Fund. I was perturbed because I know that this deductions were based on a resolution passed by this House during the tribute to the fallen Speaker.” Speaker reminded Members of Parliament.
She said, “It was passed and was adopted. Shs1 Million was deducted from your salary and taken to the trust Fund. It was an agreed position by all but you find members talking a lot as if we have removed Shs10 Billion from……” Said Speaker Anita.
If a Member has a problem with this deductions, Speaker has notified them to approach her, and, “I will be happy to refund the amount deducted rather than have them tarnish the image of Parliament.”
Last week the media was awash with reports by some MPs that opposed the deduction of Shs1 Million from their accounts saying they had not agreed on the position.
For starters, after the demise of former Speaker emeritus Jacob Oulanyah, Parliament resolved that each MP will contribute Shs1 Million towards the Oulanyah Education Trust fund. The fallen Speaker was paying school fees for hundreds of needy children. MPs agreed to contribute towards this cause to make sure Oulanyah’s doesn’t end with his death.
In another development, Speaker Anita has warned those spreading falsehoods that Members of Parliament are planning to increase their salaries to stop that nonsense.
“MPs are contented with what they arn and are focused on improving the livelihoods of the people they serve.” Said Speaker Among,
In her communication today morning, Speaker Anita who is the Bukedea district woman member of Parliament said, “Honourable Members, as we come towards the end of business of this session, I would like to congratulate you for the work well done. This week will be critical for this House as it is the moment when we will be considering very crucial matters including the finance and tax reports and bills among others.”
Speaker told her MPs that, in the course of the budget process, they have seen that the PFMA in certain areas is not in tandem with the constitution which is the supreme law of this land.
In this regard, she has directed the Minister for Finance, Planning and Economic Development to introduce an amendment bill to cure the discrepancies and she expects this at the beginning of the next session.
Due to the crowded to today’s order paper, as MP debate the coffee report, Speaker has ruled that she will not entertain matters of national importance.
Plenary started at 10am today morning.

‘LEAVE US ALONE OR YOU’LL DIE’, TOP PASTOR JACKSON SENYONGA WHO UNMASKS CON PASTORS FAKING MIRACLES IN CHURCH GETS DEATH THREATS

Pr. Senyonga at a mega Crusade in Kagadi in Bunyoro

BY MOSES MUGALULA
NEWS EDITOR MEDIA

THE life of International televangelist Jackson Senyonga, founder and lead pastor of Christian Life Church (CLC) in Kampala, Uganda is in danger! Please pray for him wherever you are, that God will protect his servant!
Threats on his life, we are reliably informed, started after this man of God, without fear of favour continued to unmask con men in Church masquerading as Pastors, faking miracles, defrauding and cheating followers as well as depriving them of the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
He is now getting warning bells to leave their ‘business’ or they act on him, threats Pastor Senyonga is not taking for granted!
This fastest growing News website in Uganda can authoritatively report that, security for the P5 renown Pastor has been beefed up so that enemies of the gospel do not use any leakage to injure his life, thanks to the Government of Uganda.
Born-Agains in Uganda and his followers world over have been called upon to intercede for the founder of Top television, Top radio and other Christian media houses because a clique of false prophets in Uganda have ganged up and are determined to injure his life or close his mouth for good so that he doesn’t unearth their dubious acts any more!

DETAILS
For years, fraudsters, con men and false prophets have been invoking God’s name as a shield to defraud and cheat their unsuspecting followers as well as depriving them of the true gospel.
Senyonga, a senior Pastor with hundreds of Churches both in Uganda and outside the country chose to take a firm stance against false prophets – standing in their way, by publicly rebuking them and exposing their ungodly acts as well as rallying the public to isolate them.
These mafia pastors were living in fear since some of the crimes they have committed to their followers are catching up with them.
Irritated by his unending ‘war’ against them and his quest to have them exposed, these con pastors deployed various tactics to silence him.
False prophets in Uganda are disturbed by the fact that Pastor Senyonga has offered himself as a good Samaritan to warn the public about how dangerous they are to the society.
They allegedly hacked a plan to bankroll and ventured into a smear campaign using media to taint his name and reputation blindly thinking, he will back off!
Followers of Pr. Jackson Senyonga believe that false prophets identified and reached out to some leading dailies to publish stories against the man of God showing that he has loans as if it’s a crime in Uganda to take a bank loan. These dailies also run stories how Pr. Senyonga takes months to pay his staff as if they are visitors in Uganda who don’t know the impact of Covid-19, an epidemic which hit the economy world over.
“Publication of the negative stories was to commence at the end of February but the topmost editors had until March not sanctioned the smear campaign against Pastor Senyonga,” says an impeccable source who attended some of the meetings.
Source says, it was agreed that such stories are consistently written with screaming headlines in order to create an immediate and huge impact.
The source says the false prophets want the publications to advance the false propaganda and misinformation campaign for as long as Senyonga continues speaking about them.
Led by Pastor Jackson Senyonga, religious leaders in the born again faith in 2017 denounced three pastors declaring them as false prophets.
This declaration was made after a consultantative meeting of over 5,000 pastors from across the country gathered at Christian Life Church, chaired by the Overseer, National Fellowship of Born Again Pentecostal Churches (NFBAPC), Bishop Joshua Lwere.

“We denounce the so called pastors and prophets mentioned, who totally contravene, contradict and falsify the teachings of the holy Bible and Christian church,” said Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga while addressing the media.
Pastor Senyonga said that the pastors received overwhelming complaints and evidence from hundreds of people who were victimized or witnessed the horrendous activities and crimes.
Senyonga said that the three ‘false prophets’ and their churches masquerade and disguise as Bible teachers on the surface with a soft spoken approach yet they are wrong doers invoking spirits of the dead.
“They manipulate scriptures, stage manage miracles and also commit crimes against humanity by involvement in occult worship, witchcraft, use and worship of snakes, beast worship, blood sacrifice, destroying marriages, families, human sacrifice among others,” Senyonga explained.
The spiritual leaders launched a campaign against all false prophets in the country with the aim of alerting Ugandans and causing government to take actions against such people.

HERE IS WHAT DEPUTY SPEAKER THOMAS TAYEBWA TOLD MEN ON ALLOWING WIVES TAKE LEADERSHIP POSITIONS

NEWS EDITOR MEDIA

DEPUTY Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa has urged husbands not to frustrate or block their wives from taking over positions of leadership, saying keeping them in the kitchen is now history and indeed hinders their contribution to development as in a family and Country to large.
Rt. Hon. Tayebwa made these remarks at the burial of Maj (rtd) Fred Mugasho, husband to Hon. Margaret Ayebale, the Mbarara district woman Member of Parliament. Mugasho was laid to rest at their home in Kashari South, Mbarara District yesterday.
Addressing hundreds of mourners, Deputy Speaker Tayebwa said, “Men stop blocking your wives from taking up leadership positions. If you frustrate your wives and step on their opportunities, it is you, it is your family, it is your country which is losing.”
Tayebwa debunked the talk that women get spoilt when they assume higher positions in politics or elsewhere by not respecting their husbands hence breaking marriages.
By giving Hon. Ayebare as an example, Deputy Speaker said she has been a good example to most women because much as she became a legislator, she remained loyal to her husband and kept the marital vows until death did the two apart.
“I want thank Hon. Margaret Ayebare for being a good ambassador for women in politics. Those who think by your wives joining politics, marriages will break up, Ayebare has disapproved you. Margaret you have relieved us of that cross because you became a politician and you remained committed to your marriage and took care of your husband as a married woman, thank you.” said Tayebwa.

He however asked some of the political big wigs who might have veered off the moral line by abandoning their spouses after rising in ranks, to reform.
Tayebwa said, “May be we have people who get spoilt on taking over higher positions in leadrship. Please, don’t hide behind the good image Margaret has showed us, reform. Love surpasses challenges and if you love your spouse, these titles can never change you.”
He also commended Ayabare for supporting his bid to become Deputy Speaker hence asking the people of Mbarara to support her stay a little longer in order to effectively contribute to development.
“Don’t just rush to vote her out of Parliament and put another person. We will lose the friends and linkages she has made. You give us Margaret consistently for 20 years” Said Tayebwa, drawing applause from the mourners.

Deputy Speaker pledged to allow Kashari South MP Nathan Itungo to raise the matter of illegal fees being charged in schools so that the Minister of Education can explain to the country on the steps being taken to relieve parents of such burdens.
Itungo had earlier requested the deputy Speaker to help fight against the extortions of parents by government aided schools which charge illegal fees inducing extra charge on candidates registering for national exams.
“Parents have narrated their pain to me that they are suffering with illegal fees. Children who are in P.7, S.4 and S.6 in government schools are not supposed to pay UNEB fees because government pays. But they told me that teachers charge other fees under the cover that it is for photographs and e-registration” Itungo explained.
He also requested the deputy Speaker to task the Ministry of Energy and Mineral development to find a solution to power distribution challenges in Kashari County where wires have taken long to be replaced after being vandalized.

NEWS EDITOR MEDIA

PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni has held a meeting with Uganda’s fuel efficient car maker, Automobile Group Uganda Company limited led by the Assistant Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Antony Liu, which lasted for hours.
In a meeting held at State House in Nakasero, Gen. Museveni lauded the Chinese administrators for their investment which is not only creating employment opportunities to Ugandans but also offer cost and fuel efficient vehicles to counter demand on the the East African Community market amidst skyrocketing fuel prices.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of State for Finance in charge of Privatisation and Investment Hon. Evelyn Anite.
Museveni’s meetings comes less than a fortnight after minister Anite visited the company at Namanve Industrial park.
Minister Anite reported to the President that, “Your Excellency, besides providing jobs for our people, this will also go a long way in helping our country in reducing on the high volume in very old and yet expensive imported cars in Uganda. And you find that most of such cars emit gasses which are a big threat to our environment.”
She said, this company will among others save the Ugandans from incurring heavy costs on importing second hand cars in a shipping process characterized with a fleet of untold risks, hefty taxes and yet some of the cars purchased don’t suit the Ugandan terrain.

The Head of State credited the company for creating a mechanism that will not only absorb Ugandans as a means of providing labour but also serve as a training ground that will embrace Ugandan students.
On Sunday last week during the just concluded Buy Uganda, Build Uganda (BUBU) expo held at the Kololo Independence grounds in Kampala, the Assistant Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Antony Liu revealed the company will have an all-inclusive internship policy that will embrace students from both vocational institutes and Universities in the fields of computer science, engineering, robotics among others.
“We trust that once we train as many Ugandans as possible then, the same labour force can be embraced and applied in local companies like the Kira Motor vehicles,” Mr Liu said then.
Automobile Group Uganda Company Limited currently imports most of the spare parts from overseas for the first line of production. It however has plans to equipping native workers to learn and apply the same knowledge skills that can later be applied on producing spare parts for same within the country.
Among the major products made by the company is the Vigus 5 4WD pick-ups both the single and double cabin versions. These come with one of the lowest fuel consumptions whereby with 8 litres, one is able to cover at least 100KM.
The truck is gutted with Disc brake with ABS + EBD. Manual transmission 5 forward + one reverse. It has a sitting capacity of 5 persons within the double cab with an extended trunk for one’s extra goods or commodities.
All the cars manufactured under the plant are installed purify air quality. Specifically purify harmful gases, remove odors, reduce odors, reduce bacterial growth and also ensure that the car’s interior had a constant supply of fresh air.
Having the studied the Ugandan market and established that some of fuel station have adulterated fuel, the makers of the said car have filters that incase a driver unclean fuel, the dirt and water and filtered before releasing clean fuel into the engine for combustion.

HOW FALSE PROPHETS HAVE DECLARED ANOTHER WAR AGAINST JAKSON SSENYONGA, A SENIOR PASTOR IN UGANDA FOR EXPOSING THEM

0

MAN OF GOD: Pastor Ssenyonga

OPINION BY:
KINGU AL-MAHADI ADAM

FOR some time now, I have been reading stories in the media surrounding Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga, the lead Pastor of Christian Life Church (CLC).
Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga is renown for exposing false prophets in Uganda who hide themselves in Born-Again churches to rob people of God of their hard-earned money faking miracles. No wonder, these conmen in Church have chosen to wage a smear campaign and bankroll some media houses to blackmail the man of God, which game plan shouldn’t divert him.
As a Journalist, I am desperately concerned about the manner, the structure and the tone in which the stories are presented and what exactly, the media houses want to achieve.
For starters, there is an ongoing case in the High Court where three suspects alleged to be bodyguards of Pastor Ssenyonga are accused of assault and aggravated robbery.
Some reporters have since opted to publish a series of stories advancing a narrative as though the pastor himself was involved in the alleged crime. This is done by consistently writing screaming headlines of articles with Ssenyonga appearing as a subject.

Whereas, it is true that prominence (persons, places, things and situations well-known to the public) is one of the determinants of news – that the more renowned a particular name, the more interest the news will create among its readers, journalists must trade cautiously in order not to publish defamatory things which tarnish the reputation of other people.
In this case, Pastor Ssenyonga is not in any way liable or involved in the alleged crime, but his name is consistently attached to the same by reporters. This is not what the value of prominence in news entails.
It is ethically improper and suicidal for media to act like hired mercenaries to pull down Pastor Ssenyonga or any other individual by way of unjustifiably repeatedly publishing tarnishing header with nothing new in the story.
I have also read stories of issues to do with his finances and management of his media consortium. Surprisingly still, one side is propaged. This is not journalism.
Journalists are mandated to be fair, by exploring all sides of an issue and reporting the findings accurately.
Members of the public should never be used to exaggerate the importance of a story. Journalists have a responsibility to examine their own motives, and ensure that their personal feelings and emotions do not influence what they report, whom they talk to, or determine which elements of the story they highlight.
As a Journalist, citing the recent stories about Pastor Ssenyonga in the dailies, I see what appears to be a syndicated, well orchestrated and paid for move by some media to misinform, blackmail and propagate false propaganda against the man of God, and this is really very unethical.
Journalists need to think carefully about the language and tone they use to ensure that it doesn’t give an inaccurate and unfair representation of the facts. Our job is to inform the public debate, not manipulate that debate.
We are working on behalf of the public, not using them for our own ends. Journalists should have no motivation other than presenting sourced and verified fact. Also click here and read: INCREDIBLE! GOV’T SALUTES CHRISTIAN LIFE CHURCH PASTORS JACKSON & EVE SENYONGA FOR INJECTING 300M TO FEED THE HUNGRY
We should not have a desired outcome because that’s activism. And some would argue that journalism and activism are not compatible. Let’s do our job regardless of the outcome.
Journalism is about facts, truth, accuracy, fairness and objectivity and because of this, it has the ability to shape people’s beliefs and opinions. It opens a reader’s mind to experiences, it can build a person’s legacy or destroy his or her reputation and so, we should not be used to taint anyone’s reputation.

Kawalya said, “You all know how our Katikkiro has been traversing the whole Kingdom calling upon Kabaka’s subjects to plant more coffee, then next day, government without consulting Owek. Mayiga, signs such an agreement giving our coffee to a foreigner and it expects us to agree with it? No way!”

As the area member of Parliament, Kawalya requested the congregation to rise up and resist this coffee agreement saying it was brought in a bad faith and has many loopholes.

YESTERDAY Sunday May 8, 2022, Rubaga North legislator Abubaker Kawalya led fellow members of Parliament to Namirembe Diocese mega Convention and later to a fundraising function for the completion of Mission House, on the invitation of Namirembe Diocese Bishop Rt. Rev. Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira and Diocesan Secretary Rev. Ssegawa.
The theme of the convention was: “You shall be my people and I will be your God” Jeremiah 30:22. It was organised by The Mission Department of Namirembe Diocese.
Speaking to the Anglicans who filled St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe to capacity, without mincing words,  Hon. Kawalya said, “Who ever wants to give our coffee to a foreigner Ms. Enrica Pinetti is joking! We will not allow that to happen. I call upon all of you, support the fight to save our coffee. Government signed a bad agreement, which we have strongly rejected. Please, join us to fight this deal.”
Kawalya, a former Speaker of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), in the presence of Buganda Lukiiko Speaker Owek. Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule told the congregation that, Buganda Kingdom’s Premier Charles Peter Mayiga has done a commendable job in rallying Kabaka’s subjects to plant more coffee through ‘Emmwanyi Terimba’ campaign, wondering how can government sign such an agreement without consulting Katikkiro and coffee growers in Buganda and other regions of the Country.
Hon. Kawalya decried the skyrocketing prices saying people should leave the comfortable zone to demand for an urgent solution.
He said all this in the presence of two State ministers Owek. Joyce Juliet Nabbosa Ssebuggwawo (IT & National guidance) and John Mulimba (State minister in charge of Foreign Affairs).
Kawalya used this function to thank Rubaga North people for overwhelmingly voting him and proudly said, “I won at all polling stations in the constituency. Thank you for entrusting me with your votes, you will never regret.”
The day started with a service and had three preachers.
The first one was Ven. Can. Godfrey BK Buwembo from Nateete Archdeaconary
He talked about some parents who these days are confused, thinking about school fees for their children but asked them not to fear because God himself said, we will be his people and he will be our God.
“God knows what bothers us, he knows our needs, he knows all about us, he knows all the situations we are going through because he is the God and does everything in the Universe. He sees all attrocities you commit against fellow people .”He reminded the congregation. Those who torture people, God is seeing you so tread carefully. Jeremiah, in the Bible says, ‘When we acknowledge God, he will heal and renew us.’ ” Preached Ven. Can. BK Buwembo.
Another preacher The Very Rev. Jonathan Kisawuzi Ssalongo, who is the Dean St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe preached about giving to God and the importance of the Mission House.
He said, “When you find God’s treasury and he teaches you giving, tell me any one whose business collapsed for giving back to God? Yes, he or she can make a loss but still, the business booms again because God is the provider. Those who wisely chose to give back to God, they have received more blessings.”
Ssalongo Jonathan Kisawuzi asked, “Who of you young girls visits your boy friends and when you are leaving, he gives you exact transport, can you go back there? But most of us when we come to the Lord, we are slow in giving back know to God.”
He told church that when Mission House is completed, and it starts bringing money to the Church, it will help the Bishop to have source for contributions because people always ask, what do we gain from the Cathedral.
“How do you feel when Bishop contributes 5M on behalf of the Diocese? As Diocese, we need source of income so that we can fund different projects. My lord the Bishop, Mission House needs to be completed quickly so that, work done so far is not be in vain due to the ongoing down pour.” Ssalongo Kisawuzi noted.
The Rt. Rev. Bishop Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira read from the book of Mark 8:25-27 and urged every one, “To see things in a right way. One who has God is capable of seeing things and understands whether what he or she does is wrong or right.”

With the launch of this development, Uganda joins the counterparts in the East African Community which among others includes Rwanda and Kenya that have since engaged in high-end initiatives and programmes to quench the thirst of ever growing demand for modern and brand new motor vehicles.
It is worth noting that most of the countries in the region have had a high reliance on second hand cars and have also had an adverse effect in the countries that they have been bought and used.
About the company, cars
Automobile Group Uganda Company Limited currently imports most of the spare parts from overseas for the first line of production. It however has plans to equipping native workers to learn and apply the same knowledge skills that can later be applied on producing spare parts for same within the country.
The company is to be headquartered in Uganda as central station so that it can make and churn out cars for ever growing thirst in the East African region.

SENEGALESE American Singer Aliaune Damala Badara Akon Thiam, known mononymously as Akon, this week returned to Uganda for a special visit to Kampala’s richest businessman Hamis Kiggundu of Ham Enterprises (U) limited.
They attended Eid El-fitir prayers together and later, tycoon Hamis Kiggundu hosted Money magnet Akon at the State-of-art – Ham Agro Industries Headquarters.
The 38 years property mogul Hamis Kiggundu revealed to his guest why  he has chosen to venture into Agricuture saying it is the only path to fight and end poverty in Uganda.
Recently Ham told journalists that he invested UGX 2B in this research and divided Uganda into 10 Aggro zones.
“I carried out soil tests in different areas. I went to Western Uganda and saw that it has livestock, in Central we can get fisheries, fruits, horticulture, we have Maize and coffee. But before setting up structures, systems and policies, that can fully accommodate Agriculture for instance, Ham Agro Industries, there are many things I must first work on.” Mr. Kiggundu told journalists.
To his guest Akon, billionaire Hamis Kiggundu said that he is going to make a lab so that he can produce quality seeds and also, open up Ham Agro Bank in partnership with farmers.

Hamis Kiggundu believes that to promote agriculture in the country, Farmers have to control right from fertilizers they use, the pesticides and, “We have to train them in the best Agriculture practices because right now, many of their crops and produce can’t meet the market standards so they end up living the liability.”
About his plan to build storage facilities, Hamis Kiggundu told Akon that in Uganda there has been a problem of storage facilities.
“You find someone has 10 acres of maize but sleeps in a small house. At the time of harvesting, when he leaves maize in garden, it will get spoiled. When he harvests it, he has no where to keep it at home to dry it. Majority farmers have that problem of storage, So I want to set up big storage facilities.” Kiggundu told his guest.
He took him around Ham integrated processing plant and headquarters which is no different from white house.
“What I am building”, Ham told Akon, “Will have capacity to engage big international markets like in Qatar, Middle East, Europe or Turkey that we can sign with them treaties with the help of government, say we can supply them maize worth UGX 2B.  Ham is is planning to work together with the farmers by financially empowering them. This he plans to do through Ham Agro bank.He hopes to give farmers a helping hand by not only buying produce from them but also working together all the way from planting to harvesting.

Kiggundu wants to start right from the soil, yes it will require sometime but he says, if they give it a robust approach, within a period of two-three years, they will be able to have gone to parameters of quality controls.
He asked why plant more maize which can’t meet international standards?”
He says, other able Ugandans like will join him in this industry and do things like this and later, government will join.

He told Akon that Agriculture has capacity to employ all Ugandans if handled well, being that it is the backbone of our country.
“There is more money in Agriculture than in Oil. Uganda has capacity to feed 500 million people. Our soil is fertile, we have rainfall and we have youth who have capacity to do the work.” Noted tycoon Hamis Kiggundu.
While addessing media recently, Kiggundu said,  “We have to use factors of demand and supply to see that, through a liberal economy we entice these youth to move back into agriculture. That should be determined by actual incomes not just taking them to gardens. One hears that all maize in Kiboga is on demand. Then he will sell away his bodaboda, goes back to the village to plant maize.”
This according to him, will kill urbanization. “Why is it that all people are running from villages to the cities can’t we move productivity back to our villages like it was before?”
He asked.

LAST WEEK on Wednesday April 26, 2022, Dr. David Ssenfuka was invited by Mr. Kenneth Mugisha President Rotary club on behalf of Rotarians at International Hotel Muyenga in Kampala as a guest Speaker about his miraculous herbal medicine which treats and cures uncommunicable diseases, Diabetes and Cancer!
His shocking story left them shaking heads while many craved for his phone contacts!
The LEONIA-NNN Medical Research and Diagonastic Centre Director was accompanied by Medical Doctor Moses Mpairwe and a team of his lawyers led by counsel Joshua Buyinza.
In attendance was Dr. Grace Nambatya Kyeyune the Director of Research at the National Chemotherapeutic Research Institute (NCRI) who saluted Dr. Ssenfuka for his research and asked him to work closely with the Ministry of Health to see how best his research can be supported to save lives.
NCRI is a state owned research and development institute in natural products and tradional complementary health systems.
Addressing Rotarians on behalf of Dr. Ssenfuka, counsel Joshua Buyinza revealed that, “LEONIA-NNN-Medical Research & Diagnostics Centre Ltd has evolved to its present form organically where we have responded to a need with appropriate actions.
“Our forerunner and founder Mr. Ssenfuka’s story, of late is inseparable with the herbal formulations that have proved instrumental in the treatment  of incurable diseases like Diabetes and Cancer. His story has been told endlessly and it has left listeners bewildered by the way fortune unfolds.” Counsel Buyinza told Rotarians.

SSENFUKA’S STORY:  A WONDER DOCTOR TREATING & CURING CANCER AND DIABETES
Dr. Ssenfuka grew up with his grand mother, now deceased, the late Nalongo Leonia Namuganga Nakiwala whose initials are reflected in the name of his company in memory of her illustrious career and fellowship in traditional medicine.
Nalongo Leonia’s knowledge in traditional medicine was slowly passed on to Ssenfuka through the spirit of goodwill who pursued and discovered that the story of the herbal therapeutics she used contained ingredients that have curative effects for Diabetes Mellitus and Cancer.
The journey of discovery, though was realised by coincidence, later took on the course of scientific inquiry, when analysts at the Uganda National Chemotherapeutic Research Institute (UNCRI) investigated the metabolic action of the ingredients found therein and found them effective to cure Diabetes.
This was confirmed during the trials conducted after conducting the safety toxicity tests on drugs.

WHY SSENFUKA HONOURED ROTARIANS’ INVITATION
He said, “Our presence today before you Rotarians is significant. It is worth the time given the long history of ideals that Rotary has come to be synonymous with the world over.”
Ssenfuka noted that, The values of Service, Fellowship, Diversity, Integrity, Leadership under motto of service above self through sustainable projects have been the norms worth emulation and the envy for high achievers.
“We are therefore privileged to be hosted to this fellowship to share with you our sojourn of achievements in a sphere that has not been so pleasantly received but in which we have affirmed to forge on ahead without fear of limitations.” Ssenfuka told Rotarians.
What shocked Rotarians most, Mr. Ssenfuka David is not a medical Doctor nor a pharmacist or Botanist. He hasn’t acquired any academic achievement higher than Ordinary level.
However, hundreds of cancer and Diabetes patients who were on death bed but responded to his treatment and regained their lives, feel comfortable to address him as Dr. Ssenfuka.
Worth admiration is the fact that, so many academic achievers would be pitted to notch the accolade of such discoveries albeit the same going to the humble like Mr. Ssenfuka David.
“Who knows what the limelight we would swim into had he been of such achievement! But we can also comprehend that God designs his plans in ways that should defeat human understanding.” Counsel Buyinza told Rotarians.
He said, in honouring their invitation, Dr. Ssenfuka thought it catchy that he shouldn’t lose such an opportunity of sounding alarm bells to the willing Rotarians.
At Leonia, the sick have been reconditioned to a health life free of Diabetes and Cancer. Treatment and cure have been realised, physical and mental health for the sick and their care givers have been revamped, healing has caused consequential Psycho-social therapy and life expectancy has been invigorated.
As a result there has been registered increase in production, thus bringing about marginal increase of wealth, poverty has been reduced (because diseases contribute to poverty), Happiness (for family, community, society) had been restored, the mortality curve from these uncommunicable diseases is marginally falling, employment is being provided.
“National income will therefore gradually shift upwards, the annals of Academic knowledge are getting richer and we are all susceptible to enjoying National pride.” Said Counsel Buyinza, adding that, “But at the same time, we have witnessed masses of people yearning for our herbal medicines, the young, the teens, and the aged  the privileged and the disadvantaged, the capable and the disabled, the lowly, the high and the mighty.”
“We meet and interface with them, with their faces craving and asking for more, but unknown to them, is the reality that our sources are limited and our hands are equally limited to reach as many as we would want.” Decried Dr. Ssenfuka.
For instance, he has so far faced a limitation of scholarly inexperience partly caused by the hazards associated with intellectual exposure.
Sharing the plant sources for essay writings and publications is hampered by the fact that Mr. Ssenfuka will no longer have a secret to trade and protect and yet furthering clinical trials requires well researched and published works.
They have been dispensing medicines on basis of community sittings.
“It is the minimum acceptable way available for us to operate as per the law. Supplying the drug to other dispensaries would violate the National Drug Policy & Authority Act Regulations.” Rotarians told.
This appears acceptable depicting the traditional way by which medicines were prescribed and administered.
Dr. Senfuka and his team has continued in that way because their drugs have not yet reached the standardised level minimally required to distribute it. A standardised drug will be a key milestone which will enable these drugs to reach the masses.
Currently,  they are faced with a threat of foreclosure for want of Government approvals to dispense their drugs.

HOW DR. SSENFUKA ASKED ROTARY TO INTERVENE
He said, “We are well appraised of the virtues by which Rotary was founded and on which it has been  fostered. Values of Service, Fellowship Diversity, Integrity, Leadership and Service above self. We seek to establish production plants,  Joint ventures, out growers, Academic and scholary Collaborations, Partnership, Developers, Philanthropists, Donors, etc all intended to incite innovative, academic, social and economic excellence.”
Ssenfuka and his team believe and have hope that if Rotarians envisage virtue in their future prospects of alleviating mankind of diseases of infirmity, that Rotary extend a hand of service above self in any of their programmes vastly made known to Rotarians for a future so sustainable like they have ever imagined.
Rotary has been engaged previously in cancer runs for no greater purpose than to save lives.
Dr. Ssenfuka think that, if developing infrastructure for cancer management, offering cancer screening and treatment services, promoting cancer awareness, and building human resource capacity for cancer management have been the causes of the Uganda Rotary Cancer program; adding another cause of promoting a cancer cure shall be a grandeur cause that Rotary would be proud to be associated with.
In tandem, to achieve those causes has been Dr. Ssenfuka’s program to go on rampage through media to create awareness of the need for early screening, general health and medical knowledge and increasing the interface time of health practitioners to the public.
