ON SUNDAY July 17, 2022, hundreds of football sport lovers filled Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium (Wakisha) to capacity as Wakiso United FC played Kasengejje FC in an intresting Nasifu cup 2022 finals!

By the end of the 90th minute, Wakiso United had netted home 4 goals throwing their supporters into jubilation for having won the prize cow put by Wakiso Town Council district NUP councilor Nasifu Kawooya Dauda. He organised and bankrolled this tournament.
Kasengejje FC who managed to score once, were given a goat and medals. Fans were led by Wakiso East legislator Medard Lubega Sseggona, Kyengera Town Council mayor Sir Mathias Walukagga, Musa Ategenda of Wakiso Giants FC which plays in FUFA Super league, and other guests.

The area member of Parliament saluted councilor Nasifu for being a hardworking young man and his spirit of uniting people through sports.
“I will give jerseys to both teams which have played finals and a got to Kasengejje FC which finished in the second positon. We will contunue to stand with Councilor Nasifu and promote talent identification especially in sports.” Said NUP MP Hon. Sseggona who recently bought an ambulance for the People of Busiro East Constituency.

Wakiso district councilors who showed solidarity to their colleague Nasifu Kawooya included; Council Speaker Najja Nasiif, Lawrence, Ruth Faith Nakanwagi, Milly Natembo, Kamya Ssentamu, Ssemwogere Adam, Bantebya Daniel, Muwonge Chris, Luyombo Mponye, Lubulwa Faruok, Santos, Shakirah Naccwa Kakungulu and many others.

Also present were Wakiso Town Council Councilors who included; Madam Dorothy (Deputy Mayor Wakiso Town Council), Joel Mayanja (Kisimbiri cell), Nalukenge Doreen (Mpunga ward), Piryo Joseph (Kikokiro), Kiyinji Frank (Kayunga cell), Moses Bin Mohammad (Mpunga cell) and others.
