FEDERATION of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) President Eng. Moses Magogo says, the unveiled new FUFA Complex is an approach to modern Sport in a three-tier which includes Sport, Business and Governance.
In his Statement to Statement on Saturday morning, Eng. Magogo said, “The new FUFA Complex will compose of Football House which will house competitions, Refereeing, Development, Membership and National Teams”
“It will also compose a business house for Marketing, Events, and Communications.” Says FUFA boss.
The new complex will also have Executive wing for Presidency, CEO, Finance, IT, Compliance and Internal Audit.
Saluting the World Football body FIFA for the financial push up, Eng. Magogo said, “On completion of this complex, our next move will be to Kadiba, Lugazi and other regions.”
On January 27th 2020, FUFA opened the Extension to the FUFA Headquarters at Mengo which includes State of Art 3-storied building and a bungalow house sitting on approx. 0.8 acres
This is a project funded by the FIFA Forward 1.0 under the FIFA Presidency of Mr. Gianni Infantino costing about 800,000 USD in acquisition of the land and construction costs
“We are delighted to host the 1st ever African and Woman FIFA GS Madam Fatmah Samoura to open the building.
We are further delighted by the first visit of the new Sports Minister Hon. Hamson Dennis Obua to the home of football. Next is the Kadiba Project, Terikuzikiza.” Wrote Eng. Magogo a day before the project was launched.
