RULING NRM has footed medical bills of Ms. Enid Tumusiime, 45 years old who was on January 26th knocked down by a speeding boda-boda cyclist in Kampala on her way from Namboole where she had attended the NRM Delegates’ Conference.
According to Rogers Mulindwa, senior Manager Information, Communication & Public Relations, NRM Secretariat, Tumusiime was admitted at Nsambya Hospital where medics confirmed her right femur bone sustained a compound fracture.
“On receipt of this information, NRM Secretary General Rt. Hon. Justine Kasule Lumumba paid her and the late Mary Lokel a visit in the same hospital. She yesterday cleared Tumusiime’s medical bill of UGX 8, 042,900.” Said Mulindwa in a press release today Friday morning.
Tumusiime is the Vice Chairperson of the NRM Women League in Bushenyi District and a Chairperson of the Women Council in Nyarubaare Sub County.
From St. Elizabeth Ward, where she is admitted on bed No.8, Rogers Mulindwa has said, “Tumusiime carries the Party spirit so high with a Party yellow cap on her head and the Conference accreditation card around her neck.”
She is a resident of Nyarutooma – Kasozi village in Bushenyi.
