BUGANDA King Ronald Kimera Muwenda Mutebi II has today Tuesday given Central Government UGX 100M to buy food and other necessities to the starving people who are not earning a living during this Covid-19 lockdown.
His Majesty the Kabaka, has also pledged to continue sending teams to monitor and sentize his subjects about Coronavirus and how it spreads.
The Cheque was delivered by his brother Prince David Kintu Wasajja, accompanied by top Kingdom officials.
It was handed over to Uganda Prime minister Dr. Livingstone Ruhakana Rugunda who heads the Covid-19 National Task Force at his office in Kampala.
Dr. Rugunda has today launched the fundraising drive as we count down to the end of the lockdown instituted by the President.
