JUST IN, money magnet Balyeku Moses Grace, former Member of Parliament for Jinja Municipality West Constituency, owner of Ntinda based Baba tv and Baba FM in Jinja has sent shocking waves through his NRM supporters after a post on his facebook page praising NUP President Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi as the man with electricity!
However, his Media aide Kungu Al-Mahadi Adam has strongly refuted the allegations, saying it’s fake!
At first, Balyeku posted the opposition NUP symbol on his known facebook page. The two posts raised a number of questions amongst his supporters, some asking whether this businessman isn’t making a political blunder he will live to regret!
Balyeku lost to FDC’ Batuwa Timothy Lusala in last elections, and he already announced his intention to contest again in 2026 to reclaim his seat.
Recently, Balyeku was seen with the PLU team chanting Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, and if it’s true that the same guy is now praising Bobi Wine and NUP Party, that will be the betrayal of the century!
For starters, Balyeku was unveiled Vice President of MK Movement in 2023. Why would he then change goal posts.
Analysts say, if it’s true that Balyeku wants to join NUP because of Kyagulanyi’s electricity, he will be politically playing on a safer side because in 2021, Bobi Wine defeated NRM candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni both in Buganda and Busoga and he might resoundingly win the two regions again, come 2026 General elections.

So, for Balyeku to post that Kyagulanyi has electricity, that looks to be a well thought statement before it was posted on the former MP’s facebook page.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON BALYEKU’S BOBI PRAISING STATEMENT
BALYEKU IS NOT ON FACEBOOK, HIS PAGE WAS HACKED – AIDE
Whereas Balyeku’s post has gone viral on social media, his media aide Kungu Al-Mahadi Adam has refuted these allegations saying the former MP strongly subscribes to the ruling NRM Party and a staunch believer in the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) headed by 1st Son Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
Speaking to this leading investigative news website, Mr. Kungu said, “Please disregard such allegations, they are fake. Ever since Hon. Balyeku’s page was hacked, he ceased being on Facebook. He did not post anything in support of NUP and will never, please be informed.”

On his X (former tweeter), Hon. Balyeku has posted, “ALERT: My official Facebook page has been hacked. The hacker is currently posting false and misleading information. Please disregard any recent posts or messages. We are working to resolve the issue. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
