OPINION
TODAY Friday, September 13, 2024, the Mission House site has been inspected by the Diocesan Secretary Rev. Samuel Muwonge, Treasurer, Mission Secretary Rev. Lumu Stephen and Eng. Tonny led by Eng. Waiswa of Zebra Contractors to assess the current status and ensure that the project is on track.
Currently, the drainage system for the building is fully complete. This is a significant milestone as it will ensure proper water management and prevent flooding or water-related damages as the construction progresses.
The construction of the last floor is also currently underway and progressing well. It is anticipated that this phase of construction will be completed in the last quarter of this year, keeping the project on schedule.
Following the completion of the last floor, the next step will be roofing. This critical phase will begin immediately after the last floor is finalized, and preparations are already in place to ensure a smooth transition between these stages of construction.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Bishop, The Rt. Rev. Moses Banja for his invaluable advice and guidance throughout the project. His wisdom has been instrumental in the smooth execution of the project.
We also appreciate our clients, whose timely payments have been crucial in maintaining the project’s momentum. Their commitment has enabled us to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure that the work continues without interruption.
We look forward to completing this project as planned and will continue to provide regular updates as we move forward.
