48 YEARS old Ronald Daniel Bunkeddeko Ssebugwawo, son to engineer Daniel and Minister of State for ICT Owek. Joyce Juliet Nabbosa Ssebugwawo who died on Saturday June 11, 2022 has been laid to rest today at his ancestral home in Nkumba, Wakiso district amidst tears from family and friends!
Daniel Bunkeddeko Ssebuggwawo had an unsuccessful operation at a Kampala Hospital in Kampala which ended his life!
In a service organised at St. Paul’s Namirembe Cathedral today morning, message from His Majesty Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II was delivered by his brother Prince David Kintu Wassajja.

Kabaka was saddened by the sudden death of Daniel Ssebuggwawo. He consoled the family for losing Daniel at such a tender age.

Baryomunsi said that these days it’s common for people who undergo operations to develop complications and eventually die.
Preaching to the congregants at St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe, retired Bishop Samuel Balagadde Ssekadde cautioned everyone to accept death because it comes so easily and, “Our life journey is so short being that we are all visitors on planet earth.”
He urged everyone to prepare his/her passport which is salvation in Christ Jesus.

A man who campaigned for president in 2021 bare footed and finished the race in the third position behind Hon. Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi and President Museveni, expressed dissatisfaction over the little money given to the health sector in the national budget read on Tuesday.

Later, the body was taken to Nkumba, for burial. Owek. Ssebuggwawo once served as a Mengo minister. Before appointed a minister in President Museveni’s government, she was a staunch FDC, an opposition party in Uganda. She served as Lubaga Mayor for two terms. A very loaded lady, Ssebuggwawo was the FDC Vice president in charge of Buganda. Her late son, married from one of the richest families in Uganda. Lady Sylvia Nagginda comes from the Ssebuggwawo family.
