BUDIOPE East voters in Buyende District, Busoga region have started enjoying the fruits of their son Eng. Moses Hassim Magogo, who at the beginning of this year was elected Member of the 11th Parliament.

Anita Annet Among tomorrow Thursday 23rd December 2021, MP Magogo who doubles as Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) President, has organised a ground breaking for Bugaya State of the art Maternity Ward at Bugaya Health Centre IV in Budiope East, Buyende district which he is going to construct using his salary as an MP and also some financial support from family and friends.
In a statement released by Hon. Eng. Moses Magogo ahead of tomorrow’s function, he has said, “Considering the massive support I got from the women of Budiope East when I was elected Member of Parliament, I have offered through myself, family, lobbying from friends and any other well wishers to fundraise and build a maternity ward at Bugaya Health Centre IV. Ground breaking will be on Thursday 23rd December 2021 at noon.”
Confirming the presence of the Deputy Speaker, MP Magogo has said, “Yes, The Rt. Hon. Deputy Speaker Anita Annet Among has accepted to be the guest of honour at the ground breaking of this project in Bugaya, Buyende.”
Asked why giving priority to mothers, the ruling NRM MP Hon. Magogo has told this News Website that it’s true he was massively elected by women but also, he has seen how women in Buyende are giving birth on the road side and how some lives are lost in the process.
“As a leader who was raised by a single parent (mother), I verily know that I am what I am because of my beloved mother. I will always respect what women go through to be mothers, to be wives, to be women and to raise their children. Where I come from, I will make sure that giving birth should be a normal process.” Reads Hon. Magogo’s statement.
Known to be a man of action, MP Magogo has called on his friends, colleagues and those with humanitarian hearts, to support and also generously contribute to this cause.
