THE newly created Masaka City is still in a lockdown shock, after a foolish Local Defence Unit (LDU) officer one Robert in broad day light pulled the trigger and ended the lives of a man and a pregnant woman on a bodaboda!
Minutes later, Robert who has been working at a beer depot in Masaka, also joined the three!
Unconfirmed reports show, the LDU man was shot dead by security operatives as they tried to disarm him. Another school of thought shows he committed suicide while some say, mob justice worked on him.
According to Masaka District LCV Chairman Jude Mbabaali, the sad incident happened in-front of Byansi Clinic on Elgin Street where the pregnant woman had gone for treatment and her husband had followed to pick her on a boda boda cycle.
“The entire incident was captured by the CCTV cameras as seen in the video.” Chairman Mbabaali revealed to News Editor Media.
Reports say, the murdered bodaboda cyclist Francis Musaasizi was the LC I Chairman of Lutovu B village Kigeye parish Malongo sub county in Lwengo district where the woman has been resident.
The slain lady known as Jacqueline, insiders say, has been playing both the LDU guy and the LC 1 Chairman.
She is said to have been pregnant for the LC chairman and wanted to go for abortion so that she can continue confusing both lovers.
