A FEW days after Express FC fired coach George Ssimwogerere, Uganda Premier league new comers Wakiso Giants has also sacked their head coach Livingston Mbabazi!
Looking at what’s going on, the stiff competition in the league will leave several tacticians jobless.
Mbabazi has joined the fired list which has; Paul Nkata from Mbarara FC, Edward golola from Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa’s Vipers FC and others.
WHY MBABAZI HAS BEEN SENT HOME
Our sources in the club management has revealed to us that, Mbabazi had failed to handle the dress room leaving some senior players unhappy with his frequent decisions of leaving them out of the starting lineup in favor of his new recruits, coupling with poor results.
“Mbabazi has failed to create relationship with players. No wonder the club is in position nine in the league.” Quoted our sources.
For starters, Wakiso Giants management see their club as one of the giants in the league and should be locking horns with the likes of KCCA FC , VIPERS and URA FC.
At the time of his shocking sacking, Mbabazi was preparing his side for the round of 32 Uganda Cup clash with MYGA FC today at Kabaka Kyabaggu play ground in Wakiso.
Mbabazi’s short live with Wakiso Giants has earned him two wins, two draws and three losses.
The last one was a 2-1 loss in the hands relegation candidates Tooro FC.We can confirms to you that former SC Villa player Steve Bengo is set stir this team in the remaining games as they look for a new coach but we await to see whether Mbabazi will do a sabbatical or join any other team shortly.
