MASAKA District Chairman Jude Mbabaali has ruled out media reports that Masaka has been invaded by deadly locust saying, it’s not true.
In a statement released on Tuesday night, Mbabaali, “Today communities in Buwunga identified grasshoppers that were thought to be similar to highly televised desert locust outbreak.”
“Our District Entomologist has confirmed that the insects are ordinary grasshoppers and NOT Desert locusts.
