FOOTBALL Club Katwe United has signed a dangerous striker Tony Odur from Mukwanogw’abangi Express FC on a half season deal. He will be with the team till the end of this season .
According to Katwe United FC PRO Adam Al-Mahadi Kungu, “We have accomplished all the necessary transfer requisites, making him our player with immediate effect. His acquisition is part of our efforts aimed at not only remaining in the FUFA Big League but also to be elevated to the country’s top division.”
Odur comes with vast experience having played for a number of good football clubs and featured for the national team for many times.
“We are excited about his coming and hope for the best from him. He now joins our other experienced players like Jimmy Kakooza, Gofin Oyiroth, Wafula Solomon, Habibu Kavuma, Kikonyogo Enoth Ronald, Nkata Billy, Asiku Emmanuel, Reagan Mukwaya, Mike Lubowa, Allan Tebusweke and others.” Says Mr. Kungu, adding, “Once again, we want to welcome Tony Odur to Katwe United FC and wish him good luck.”
